Prospectors & Developers Association of Canada (PDAC) one of the world’s largest conventions for the mineral exploration and development industry faced the challenge of enhancing its media coverage beyond the annual convention. The goal was to leverage its annual convention to ensure PDAC received coverage for a variety of programs, not simply the convention.

To highlight the wide range of PDAC’s programs, initiatives, and industry insights to attract media attention and showcase the organization’s activities beyond the convention.

The strategy was to focus on diversified media outreach that targeted a wide range of outlets, including industry publications, mainstream outlets, online platforms, and other media that cover related sectors. The goal was to weave in compelling storytelling, case studies, and thought leadership pieces that demonstrated PDAC’s impact on the mineral exploration and development industry with appropriate key messages.
